The newly formed UMT Service Group launched the Programme for Operations and Services Transformation (POST) in May 2022. This Group will oversee the development and delivery of the Programme.
A programme management office has been established and is developing the governance and management mechanisms for the programme. This will include quality assurance mechanisms, with capacity to review and assess performance, ensure robust risk management and effective procurement. In order to select and prioritise projects for POST, the Service Group is developing a benefits realisation framework. This will also enable us to measure the effectiveness of the projects against stated criteria.
A detailed programme design project began in July and will run to October 2022.
