This key piece of training supports the University’s commitment to make UCD a University for All. It has been developed by the University for All Project Team with collaboration from the Widening Participation Committee, UCD Equality Diversity & Inclusion and UCD People and Organisation Development. A Steering Group with representatives from across the University including professional staff, students and faculty has been established to advise on content and will support the launch and rollout across the University.

It provides faculty and staff with the opportunity to reflect on their work and proactively look at accessibility and inclusion in their own roles, whether they directly teach or interact with students or provide operational and management support to colleagues and the University. The training will introduce them to key concepts and enable the institution to become more compliant with accessibility legislation.
