Veterinary Biosciences Away Day

The “Away Day” for the Veterinary Biosciences Section was held on Wednesday 2 August.  Prof. David Brayden and the Veterinary Biosciences team took time out to reflect in the Wicklow mountains and say a fond farewell to Patsy Kearns after 43 years of service to UCD.  The away day also served as a welcome to Dr Lisa Katz who will be taking over the role of Head of Section in September.  On the day, the members of the Section went on a forced march up the Spink mountain in Glendalough - importantly, nobody got lost and there were no calls to the Mountain Rescue team!
