MVB Programme Evaluation

MVB Programme Evaluation – We Appreciate Your Feedback

At the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine, we regularly evaluate the MVB programme to ensure that the curriculum is supporting students and graduates to attain the competencies required for success and progression in their careers.

We are currently organising opportunities for recent graduates to provide feedback on their experience of the programme. Focus groups and online surveys will be available for recent graduates from years 2013 to 2017 and details will be emailed to Alumni. Two CVE credits are available for participation in a focus group session. ‌

Employers will also be asked for their feedback on the programme. At the UCD Veterinary Hospital conference on 22 June, there will be a focus group session for employers to discuss how the programme is enabling new graduates to contribute to key roles in modern veterinary practices. There will also be an opportunity for employers to complete an online survey while attending the event.

Dr Sue Rackard, Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning, is leading this programme evaluation initiative.  If you would like more information or are interested in participating, please contact her colleague Orla Hanratty, Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Veterinary Education: (opens in a new window)orla.hanratty@ucd.ie
