Dear Colleagues,
The month of November has seen the School successfully navigate a ‘verification visit’ by the AVMA, AVBC and RCVS as well as UCD’s own Periodic Quality Review. It was a pleasure to have external visitors witness a busy and bustling vet school, hospital and campus in sunny autumnal weather. On Friday night last, we celebrated the achievements of Michael Burke, MVB ’70 and Executive Chairman of Chanelle Pharma and thanks to Donal Connolly and colleagues, we are delighted to host the Aleen Cust Exhibition. As the three-part harmonies of our student and staff choir drift down the evening corridors, we look forward to our first in-person Christmas concert since 2019 – I am delighted to introduce the Alumni Newsletter for November 2022.
