Launch of UCD Alumni Chapter in France

In the presence of H.E. Patricia O' Brien, Ambassador of Ireland to France, Prof Michael Brophy, Head of UCD French and Francophone Studies, helped launch the UCD Alumni Chapter in France at the Embassy of Ireland in Paris on Thursday 30 November 2017. Prof Brophy addressed some 140 attendees from a wide range of UCD disciplines. There are currently an estimated 1,500 alumni in France and the Chapter, in conjunction with UCD Alumni Relations, aims to build up a solid and vibrant network serving all of its members who contribute in diverse ways to French and wider continental society and culture.
