Representatives from the School of Education attended the UCD open Day in O’Reilly Hall. They were assisted by some Bed2 students. The Director of the BEd also gave a talk to prospective Education students.

It was a pleasure to meet so many prospective Education students, especially those interested in DN760, the Bachelor of Education in Gaeilge and/or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL). Our School of Education team enjoyed chatting with visitors about the degree, sharing insights into the course structure, placement opportunities, and the exciting pathways that studying Education at UCD can lead to. The enthusiasm and curiosity of everyone who joined us made the day truly special.

This unique programme, which combines a passion for language and education, continues to prepare students to become confident, inspiring post-primary teachers of Gaeilge and/or Modern Foreign Languages.

Thank you to all who came along, met our staff and students, and explored what makes UCD such a welcoming and dynamic place to study.
