First Aid Response Refresher Course

2 Day First Aid Response Refresher (FARR) 

Aimed at: Administrative and Support staff, Academic / Research staff, Technical Officers.


This Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) certified course is for those staff members who have attended a course on First Aid Response in the last two years, and now require a refresher course and re-certification. Course includes practice of all skills; provision of clinical updates and other training needs as identified by the instructor. Duration: 2 days

UCD staff with an Externally Obtained First Aid Response Certificate 

If you have obtained a First Aid Response certificate, awarded by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), outside of the courses arranged by the UCD SIRC Office, please contact the (opens in a new window)UCD SIRC Office with the following details:

  • A copy of your most recent cert
  • Date your training was completed

Once confirmed that your certificate is valid and remains current, your details will be added to our records. The SIRC Office will then notify you directly when a refresher course becomes available before your cert expires. These places will be offered on a first come first serve basis.
