Inclusion & Well-being

The research theme of inclusion and well-being takes a holistic approach to life and learning, recognising that flourishing necessitates attention to conditions for learning, the quality of teaching, resources, and curricula. The purpose of this research theme is to identify barriers to full participation while seeking to maximise those conditions that facilitate human flourishing, cultivating positive mindsets that embrace diversity, eschewing racism and ethnocentrism, ableism, gender and/or social class-based discriminations. Along with identifying barriers, this research theme further addresses how schools create wellbeing through positive and inclusive school policies and strategies
