Meet the Team
Our International Admissions team is responsible for the governance and oversight of international student admissions across regional teams, as well as for the direct management of admissions from countries not covered by a UCD Global Centre. In addition, this team manages federal aid and scholarship programmes for international students.

Fiona leads the International Admissions team, and is dedicated to best practice and compliance, committed to promoting a culture of integrity, collaboration and transparency, ensuring parity and equity in International Admissions, achieved through training and support.

Sarah McEvoy
Senior International Admissions Officer
Sarah has responsibility for the Oversight and Governance of all aspects of International Admissions Processes. With a passion for problem solving, she works closely with the Senior International Admissions Manager as well as the rest of the Global Admissions team, the Global Centres, UCD Registry and colleagues across the university to ensure parity and equity for all applicants whilst upholding the admissions policies and procedures.

Doireann Gilna
International Funding and Scholarship Manager
Doireann provides oversight and management of the International Scholarships and Funding team, as well as steers the development of policies and projects around international scholarships and funding. She oversees the management of a range of loan programmes for international students, including US Federal and private loan programmes and Canadian education loan programmes.

Molly Baskin
International Admissions Coordinator
Molly supports both the International Admissions and International Scholarships and Funding functions within the team, and is dedicated to continued development & improvement of International Admissions and Funding Processes. Molly enjoys taking on new challenges, using her creativity within everyday tasks and finding opportunities to learn new skills.

International Admissions Coordinator
Laís supports the International Admissions process, including training and support for the Global Centres. She is the first point of contact for staff queries via the Global Admissions inbox. Laís has a keen interest in project management, alongside the development & improvement of international admissions processes.

Tara O’Connor
International Scholarships & Funding Officer
Tara administers internal scholarships and external funding for non-EU students, including US Federal Student Aid. Working with the Global Centres, she contributes to the identification and development of new scholarship, loan and other funding opportunities for international students coming to UCD. She ensures that processes surrounding the disbursement of funds, student support and other external funding requirements are carried out seamlessly.

International Admissions Officer
The International Admissions Officer supports the Senior International Admissions team in the delivery of effective and transparent international admissions processes and systems. They coordinate closely with the UCD Global Centres to develop and manage efficient operational processes and training to improve workflow, consistency and accuracy in international admissions.

International Scholarships Coordinator
Monika supports all processes around non-EU student scholarships and funding, especially student queries concerning international scholarships, North American student aid and funding. She also assists with the administration of US Federal Student Aid, including application processing and regular enrolment reporting.
