Average UCD Psychology Students


These images show ‘average’ male and female Irish faces. They were created by Professor Colin Tredoux (University of Cape Town) using 70 male and 70 female faces photographed here at UCD by Mark Campbell, Brendan Rooney & Helen Keyes, and pre-processed by Hannah Allen. These images are used in our research on caricature effects in face perception and on adaptation to high-level characteristics of faces such as identity. Thanks to all the Psychology postgraduate and undergraduate students (and their friends) who contributed their images.
