Research Grant Capture Masterclass

Professor Jenny Phillimore will be presenting a Research Grant Capture Masterclass this Thursday, June 14th from 3-4.30pm
The main topics to be covered include: getting started, enhancing success in international schemes, and experiences with international funding schemes.
Location:  A201, Hannah Sheehy Skeffington Building.

This masterclass is open to ALL staff and students who might be considering research, including Masters students, PhDs, Postdoctoral fellows etc. Please RSVP via e-mail to nessa.winston@ucd.ie to register.
 

Brief Biography of Professor Jenny Phillimore

Jenny Phillimore is Director of the (opens in a new window)Institute for Research into Superdiversity and Professor of Migration and Superdiversity. She has researched widely in the fields of migration and superdiversity. Over the past decade she has managed teams of researchers focusing on access to health, education, employment, training, and housing integration with a particular focus on integration and organisational change in the UK and EU. Jenny is a Fellow of the RSA and of the Academy of the Social Sciences. She has advised local, regional, national and European Government. She currently leads the ESRC/Norface funded (opens in a new window)UPWEB project which is developing a new concept of welfare bricolage to explore how residents in superdiverse areas address health concerns.
