Commercialisation and Enterprise Relationships Executive 

Position Summary

Applications are invited for the position of “Commercialisation and Enterprise Relationships Executive” in the Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (CeADAR). CeADAR is part funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA and is the national centre for applied artificial intelligence and the designated European Digital Innovation Hub for AI in Ireland. Its market-focussed agenda is developed in conjunction with its strong membership base of 90 MNCs and SMEs. See www.ceadar.ie for further details.

CeADAR is seeking an enthusiastic, organised individual from a technical/scientific/business or numerate background who either:

  • wishes to move into a commercialisation role

  • someone with experience of Technology Transfer either in industry or academia

  • or someone with a demonstrated successful track record in sales/technology commercialisation in industry or an applied-research environment.

    The successful applicant will have, or be prepared to develop, a general appreciation of the fields of data science and machine intelligence and their applications in industry. The appointee will have a background in science/computer science/engineering/business or a numerate discipline.

    The CeADAR centre undertakes applied and translational research across a broad spectrum of AI and works in close cooperation with the industry members of the Centre. The applied research work at CeADAR covers many areas including earth observation, natural language processing, real-time analytics, machine learning, prediction, explainable AI, Blockchain, and cybersecurity.

    This is a unique and exciting opportunity to drive the business impact and economic value-add of the Centre in collaboration with our industry partners and staff.
