Why do Europeans (dis) believe in pandemic conspiracy theories?

UCD Sociology's Prof (opens in a new window)Siniša Malešević has sopken with the Croatian daily Jutarnji list about his HRB funded projec looking into the relationaship between Covid-19 response and nationalism.
The impact of past behaviour on the pandemic project is led by Prof Malešević with a research team including Dr (opens in a new window)Lea David, Dr (opens in a new window)Sarah Carol (both UCD School of Sociology) and Dr Gordana Uzalac (London Metropolitan University, School of Social Science).
The project is examining the differing responses to the global Covid-19 pandemic and where
these differences come from, and what role distinct national traditions and the past experience of trust play in shaping different policy responses.
