- 7/06/2023 Congratulations to Professor Siniša Malešević, who has received two awards from the American Sociological Association, section on peace, war, and social conflict. His book ‘Why Humans Fight: The Social Dynamics of Close-Range Violence (Cambridge University Press, 2022) received the 2023 Outstanding Book Award. He also received 2023 Robin M. Williams, Jr. Award for Distinguished Contributions to Scholarship, Teaching, and Service in the sociology of peace, war and social conflict.
