International Men's Day 2023
International Men’s Day falls yearly on November 19th and gives us a chance to celebrate the men who make up a large part of our School of Computer Science. This year, we again held our very popular “Men In CS” photo competition where we asked the men of our School to share a photo that showed their life outside of coding and screens. Like last year, we were thrilled with the response that we received, and it was tough to pick winners from the very varied bunch we received. In the end, we chose four student photos and one from our staff cohort which showed how broad the range of extra-curriculars our community are interested in is.
From our Student cohort, the winners are as follows:
Fionn Murphy
Andrew Roberts
Joshua Brooks
Aaron Lysaght Walsh
And from our staff entrants, the winner is Dr. Andrés L. Suárez-Cetrulo, from CeADAR.
We hope that you enjoy this insight into the broader lives of the people who make up our community just as much as we did.
