What happens if I fail a module in 2019/20?

If you fail a module, normal remediation options will apply.

Online module registration will be open for registration to Summer resits, where relevant, from 10am on Tuesday, 23 June until 5pm on Thursday, 25 June 2020. Should you miss this window to register online and wish to be registered to a Summer resit, where available, you should contact your College/School Office. Summer resits will cost €180 each.

In addition, if you fail a Spring Trimester module, Schools can offer an in-module resit to students. Such an offering would be an additional opportunity; the specified resit would also be available. Your Lecturer/Module Coordinator will inform you of all of your remediation options.

Repeat and resit opportunities will also be available in 2020/21 where relevant.

Check the COVID-19 FAQs - Assessment and Examinations for more details.

Repeats/Resits in 2020/21
