Free Period Products

UCD is committed to supporting employee and student wellbeing and promoting period dignity on campus. Free period products are available in select bathrooms across the university. This initiative is part of our effort to create an inclusive, accessible, and supportive environment for all.

Where are the Period Products?
The following UCD bathrooms are stocked with free period products. These facilities include women's, gender-neutral, and accessible options across various buildings on campus.
These buildings have been selected based on key criteria, including high footfall areas and ensuring a wide geographical spread across the UCD campus. This is a joint initiative funded by the HEA and UCD.

Dispenser Refill Schedule
Dispensers are refilled as needed from Monday to Friday. Dispenser refill queries should be directed to the UCD Estates team ((opens in a new window)estates@ucd.ie).
*Please note that the James Joyce Library is restocked on weekends only if the building is open.
