Implementation of the GEAP 2020 – 2024

As of May 2022, UCD had completed 45% of the actions in the GEAP, with the remainder  either partially complete, underway or due to commence. Implementation will continue over the next year in parallel with the development of the institutional application. There are many highlights in terms of the implementation of the GEAP across a range of topics (Table 1). The impact of these activities will be measured in the EDI survey and analysis of the gender analytics data to ascertain if they are effective in enhancing gender equality in UCD. The EDI Survey report published in 2022 provides an interim indication as to the impact of actions that had completed at the time the survey was undertaken (May 2021).
