Am I entitled to a Conference Allowance?
The following are entitled to claim a Conference Allowance:
- All faculty from Lecturer/Assistant Professor to Full Professor
- All administrative staff of Grade A02 and above
- Part-time or temporary employees at the levels outlined above are entitled to claim a conference allowance on a pro-rata basis
Funded staff are not entitled to claim Conference Allowance, but may be awarded an equivalent allowance from the relevant fund. The entitlement to a conference allowance is detailed on an individual's employment contract. Please refer to the Conference Allowance Policy and discuss with your Head of School/Unit.
