The seventeenth meeting of the ‘Music and Media’ study group of the International Musicological Society will take place in-person on June 11-12 2026 in the UCD School of Music. Themed “Directions and Aesthetics of the Digital Era”, the conference focusses on evolving music and sound practices for screen media that have been facilitated by digital technologies since the year 2000. The Irish Film Institute will play host to the conference roundtable between screen composers Natasa Paulberg and Stephen Rennicks
