Module Information and Assessment

At UCD we call classes/courses ‘modules’. Arts & Humanities Study Abroad students have access to a large range of undergraduate modules available at UCD (subject to capacity and timetabling). You must take at least 4 modules and at most 6 modules for your trimester. The majority of your modules must be registered under Arts & Humanities. It is possible for you to take all of your modules within Arts & Humanities. You may also take modules in Social Sciences (with the exception of Psychology classes) which do not count as your elective classes. You can register for up to four modules in your subject area and up to two modules from other programme areas (subject to capacity and timetabling).. Assessment is based on a combination of in-trimester components such as projects, class-based assignments and formal examinations which take place at the end of each trimester in December and May.
