Progression Requirements for Stage 2

Progression Requirements for Stage 2

Students are required to complete 60 credits at Stage 1.

A student may progress to Stage 2 with 50 credits at Stage 1 but they will need to have completed the outstanding credits for Stage 1 in order to progress to Stage 3 of their programme.

In order to progress with a subject from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and take that subject to degree level, you need to be familiar with the Progression Requirements of that subject.

Most subjects require that you take at least 10 Level 1 credits in that subject area at Stage 1: some subjects require that you do more than 10 Level 1 credits in order to progress; some subjects require that you take specific modules in order to progress.

In order to confirm the progression requirements for a subject area, please click on the relevant year in which you will be entering/will have entered Stage 2.
