Welcome Barbeque for incoming First Years

As part of Orientation week in the Sutherland School of Law, incoming first year law students were invited to a Barbeque in the Courtyard of the law building. Thankfully for all concerned, the weather was beautiful and the students got an opportunity to relax in the sunshine with their Peer Mentors and fellow first years.  The Barbeque was just part of a busy schedule designed to acquaint new undergraduate students with the UCD Campus and the Sutherland School of Law.  In addition to the ‘Scarfing Ceremony’ in the O’Reilly Hall, students were welcomed by the Dean of Law, Professor Imelda Maher, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programmes Paul Ward, Student Advisor Nadia Clarkin and Programme Managers,  Maureen Reynolds (BCL) and Margaret Maher (B&L).
