Sutherland School of Law students awarded for their achievements

At a recent ceremony in O’Reilly Hall, attended by the President of UCD, representatives of all the Schools and Colleges plus students and parents, a large number of law students were awarded by the University for their achievements.  Medals were given for outstanding academic performance by law students in individual programmes and the top Scholars at Stages 2, 3 and 4 of the Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Law and Business were awarded. In addition, the Sutherland School of Law was very proud of the law students honoured in other areas such as the President’s Award for Excellence in Student Activities (Alison Coyne) and a UCD Symphony Orchestra Scholarship (Emma Quinn).

The Professor James C. Brady Memorial Prize was also awarded to April Duff.  This annual prize commemorates James C. Brady (1940-1998), Professor of the Law of Property and Equity in University College Dublin. It was established in 2001 by the James C. Brady Memorial Trust as a tribute to Professor Brady and his skills in teaching and research in the field of equity and trusts.
